I've always loved how sneakers look on someone's foot. However, I do feel like most of the sneakerheads are guys and not many girls are into sneakers and streetwear like I do. Some of the coolest, limited-edition sneakers don't even come in girl sizes or the smaller sizes are so rare that they are expensive as hell. The trading of limited, special-collaboration sneakers is unique. If I somehow managed to get my hands on some of them with the retail prices, which is the fixed price they sell for in the original stores, the resell prices could be double, triple, or even higher. My dad always calls me a centipede as a joke for having so many shoes, but it's just one of my hobbies and I love every single pair of my sneakers so much that I wash them by hands and scrub them clean with toothbrushes from time to time. I don't see the downside of such a hobby at all. Some people love photography so they spend tons of money on lenses and cameras, some love painting so they buy expensive art supplies, for me, I love sneakers so I work to save money in order to get what brings me joy.
